Fuel Oil Sulfur Content Analysis
As we all know, sulfur is a major emission pollutant in petroleum products. In recent years, to reduce environmental pollution, countries around the world have strictly limited the sulfur content in vehicle gasoline and diesel. Currently, the standard for sulfur content in vehicle gasoline and diesel is ≤10 mg/kg. Regarding ship emissions, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has stipulated that the global cap for sulfur in fuel will be reduced from 3.5% to 0.5%, and in Sulfur Emission Control Areas (SECA), sulfur in fuel will be limited to 0.1%.
In compliance with these standards, LANScientific oil analysis devices are specially designed to provide rapid on-site analysis of sulfur content in various fuel oils for petroleum, environmental protection, and other related departments. They are easy to use, and sample collection is simple.
