Metal Material Stress Analysis

X-ray diffraction (XRD) has important applications in the stress analysis of metallic materials. Metal materials develop internal stress distributions under the influence of force, affecting their performance and stability. XRD can reveal the stress state in the material by measuring small distortions in the crystal lattice. By analyzing the displacement and broadening of diffraction peaks, stress values, including residual stress and applied stress, can be calculated, providing important information to optimize material processing and design, thereby enhancing the performance and reliability of metallic materials.
