Tin ore

Tin is an important metal resource widely used in alloy manufacturing, electronic components, packaging materials, and more. Therefore, the quality and content analysis of tin ore is crucial for resource evaluation, mining, and smelting. An ore analyzer can perform comprehensive analyses of tin ore samples quickly and accurately, providing essential data on the ore's composition and content. This information serves as an important reference for mining companies, smelting enterprises, and scientific research institutions, guiding the development and utilization of tin ore resources and the optimization of smelting production.

Bronze

Bronze has a long history and holds high historical, artistic, and scientific value. However, over thousands of years, these historical treasures have undergone varying degrees of wear and damage. To effectively preserve cultural relics and fully reflect their value, it is necessary to use natural science analytical methods to uncover the potential information of the artifacts and scientifically protect cultural relics. XRF is a widely used technology in material analysis and can be used to analyze the elemental composition of samples non-destructively. In the fields of archaeology and cultural heritage preservation, XRF technology is commonly used to analyze the metal components in ancient cultural relics such as bronze, providing crucial information that is highly significant for the study of bronzes in these cultural artifacts.

Paper Paint

Paper pigment analysis can reveal important information about cultural heritage, including the age, region, author, and production process of an artwork. XRF is widely used in archaeology to analyze paper pigments, understand the production materials and techniques of ancient documents, paintings, and drawings, and provide a crucial basis for the restoration of paper pigments, research on production processes, and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Ancient Ceramics

Many methods can be used to analyze the composition of ancient ceramics, such as neutron activation, atomic absorption spectrometry, X-ray fluorescence, and others. However, the neutron activation method and atomic absorption spectrometry offer high sensitivity and accuracy, and both require the samples to be powdered before testing and analysis. This process is particularly damaging for ancient ceramics, especially for complete artifacts, and therefore cannot be used for the scientific and technological characterization of intact works. Energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analysis (EDXRF), on the other hand, can be performed directly without sampling and is widely used in ancient ceramic provenance studies, dating research, and authenticity verification.

Gem

XRF is also widely used in gemology and gemstone identification, contributing to research and applications in gemstone identification, origin analysis, and gemstone studies. Different types of gemstones have different elemental compositions, so by analyzing the elemental characteristics of a gemstone, it is possible to determine whether it is natural, synthetic, or imitation. The elemental content of a gemstone can be related to its origin. The origin of some gemstones can be determined by examining their elemental compositions, making XRF analysis helpful in identifying the possible source of a gemstone.
